Dr. Joy Ellerbrock
Dr. Joy Ellerbrock graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in June 2007. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Vision Science at that time. Dr. Ellerbrock is a 2000 graduate of Continental High School, and completed a biology degree at Defiance College in 2003.
After graduation, she completed a one-year residency program at TLC Eyecare in Jackson, Michigan, where she gained additional experience in the areas of surgical co-management and ocular disease diagnosis and management.
She was a 2007 recipient of the James Bing Memorial Award for her research in the area of Convergence Insufficiency. In February 2009, an article co-authored by Dr. Ellerbrock was published in Optometry, The Journal of the American Optometric Association.
